Read Motivational Books

How often do you read? The late Earl Nightingale, a pioneer in the area of self-help, said that if we read one hour a day on any specific subject, in five years we would become a national expert; in ten years we would have the equivalent of a Ph.D.
You might not be able to study one subject every day for one hour for five or ten years, but you can certainly try. Many people graduate from high school or college and say to themselves, “Thank God I am through with school. I will never open another book!”
Wrong! School never ends. A graduation is merely the beginning of our learning journey. That is why they call the graduation ceremony the commencement ceremony. It is the beginning of learning.
You might say, “I don’t have time to read. By the time I get out of work, I have to take care of a thousand things.” All you are telling me is that you are not serious about reaching the top of your field. Time is completely relative. If you want to be successful, then make time to learn how to.

Think,, THnk

Strong people strengthen others; wimpy people feel a need to break others down just to build themselves up.
"You can easily determine the caliber of a person by the amount of opposition it takes to discourage him." – Unknown
Waste your money and you're only out of money, but waste your time and you've lost a part of your life - Michael Leboeuf

They are like Oxygen to my soul. When I do not read them I deprive myself
of oxygen and my Dream suffocates. I commit to read them every day
to provide my Dream the Oxygen it needs so the Seeds will Grow!"

mongday msg 30 -7-11

What's behind great accomplishments? Inevitably, great people. But what is in those 'great people' that makes them different? It's certainly not their age or sex or color or heritage or environment. No, it's got to be something inside their heads. They are the people who think differently... They are the people 'who will dream dreams and see visions.'

A FOUNDATION FOR EXCELLENCE

A Foundation of Excellence
Taken as a whole, the Founders' Fundamentals and Values constitute a Foundation for Excellence. Through the awareness of these fundamentals and values, Amway Distributors and staff can partner at the highest levels and build upon our success in the coming years.

Vision & Mission

Our Vision

Helping people live better lives.

Our Mission

Through the partnering of Distributors, Employees, and the Founding Families and the support of quality products and service, we offer all people the opportunity to achieve their goals through the Amway Sales and Marketing Plan.

The Founders' Fundamentals

The Founders' Fundamentals are the principles upon which Amway co-founders, Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel built the Amway business and which we believe constitute a sound foundation for a meaningful life.

Freedom

Freedom is our natural state and the most conducive environment in which we live, work, achieve and grow. It allows for our belief in God and for the opportunity to build a meaningful, purposeful life. The Amway business recognises, supports, and expands our freedom, which is both personal and economic. Thus it is our responsibility to ensure, protect, and sustain our freedom.

"There are rare and uncommon freedoms that only a few individuals enjoy. These are the freedom to be what one wishes to be. To live where one wishes to live. To support the causes one believes in. To explore the full and exciting range of one's potential. Not many people ever experience that kind of freedom. It's rare, uncommon freedom which must be earned, and it's the result of one's own individual effort and vision." JAY VAN ANDEL

"We never looked at poverty as a class where you have to stay. We looked at it as a stage you pass through, and we just chose not to stay there. We moved through it, and went on. That's the freedom you have - that you can move beyond where you are." RICH DEVOS

Family

The family is our primary social structure, providing love and nurturing, heritage and legacy. The family provides us with a consistent set of values and a framework for growth and the ability to thrive as individuals. The Amway business respects and supports the family, as evidenced by the prominence of "family" in Amway Distributorships.

"Of course, you have an Amway family as well, and it is such an important key to this business. With Amway, you have the whole support mechanism of your Distributor organisation, uplines and downlines, who are your cheerleaders, and who are family, too" RICH DEVOS

Hope

Hope gives us the power to transform our lives in positive ways. It is a force that allows us to envision dreams, establish goals and achieve great things. By offering hope, we open windows of possibility for others, and it is why Amway speaks so meaningfully to the needs of people around the world.

"Our goals must be to make sure the lonely and the frustrated and the scared have that sense of hope and security that we can bring them. That's why you are here. That's what we are all about." RICH DEVOS

"You're involved in this business because you have hope. In fact, you already may have achieved a dream and reached the top of one hill. I hope you continue to look beyond the valleys and on to the higher mountains that you can climb in this business. I hope you will continue to help others climb with you."
JAY VAN ANDEL

Reward

Reward involves the shared action of giving and receiving. Reward helps us grow either as the giver or the recipient, and there are many ways we are rewarded. At the most basic, it is to be acknowledged and loved as a person. To be rewarded also means to be recognised for one's commitments, valued for one's contributions, and compensated for one's efforts. Reward helps productivity to flourish by providing both a closure for one action and an impetus for a new action. Reward is integral to the Amway business as we help each other grow as people and as entrepreneurs.

"For many people who come through this business, the rewards will not be in the Sales and Marketing Plan. The rewards will be in how you impact their life … and how they go out with a whole new attitude … and their sense of worth. That's one of the greatest rewards you'll ever get." RICH DEVOS

"We've learned that Amway principles translate into many languages and transcend many cultures. Being rewarded in proportion to how much you do is a universal language for people around the world." JAY VAN ANDEL

The Values

These are the essential and enduring standards, not to be compromised, by which we operate the Amway business.

Partnership

Amway is built on the concept of partnership, beginning with the partnership between our founders. The partnership that exists among the Founding Families, Distributors and Employees is our most prized possession. We always try to do what is the long-term best interest for our partners, in a manner, which increases trust and confidence. The success of Amway will reward all who have contributed to its success.

Integrity

Integrity is essential to our business success. We do what is right, not just whatever 'works'. Amway's success is measured not only in economic terms, but by the respect, trust and credibility we earn.

Personal Worth

We acknowledge, the uniqueness created in each individual. Every person is worthy of respect, and deserves fair treatment and the opportunity to succeed to the fullest extent of his or her potential.

Achievements

We are builders and encouragers. We strive for excellence in all we do. Our focus is on continuous improvement, progress and achievement of individual and group goals. We anticipate change, respond swiftly to it, take action to get the job done, and gain from our experiences. We encourage creativity and innovation.

Personal Responsibility

Each individual is responsible and accountable for achieving personal goals, as well as giving 100 percent effort in helping achieve corporate or team goals. By helping people help themselves, we further the potential for individual and shared success. We also have a responsibility to be good citizens in the communities where we live and work.

Free Enterprise

We are proud advocates of freedom and free enterprise. Human economic advancement is clearly proven to be best achieved in a free market economy.

"A world-class organisation draws, its strength, its stability, its spirit, and its success, by living its values. By doing what it says and by doing what is right." RICH DEVOS

Develop a clear Vision

Develop A Clear VisionBy: Brian Tracy
The one quality that all leaders have in common is that they have a clear and exciting vision for the future. This is something that only the leader can do. Only the leader can think about the future and plan for the future each day.
Take the Time to ThinkExcellent leaders take the time to think through and develop a clear picture of where they want the organization to be in one, three and five years. Leaders have the ability to communicate this vision in such a way that others "buy in" and eventually see the vision as belonging to them.
Motivate People to Give of Their BestIt is the vision of the future possibilities, of what can be, that arouses emotion and motivates people to give of their best. The most powerful vision is always qualitative, aimed at and described in terms of values and mission rather than quantitative, which is described in terms of money and numbers.
Money is ImportantOf course, money is important, but the decision and commitment to "be the best in the business" is far more exciting.

Why Nutrilite 002

Our Legacy

Since 1934, when the first NUTRILITE product was introduced, the company has become a leader in nutrition research, development, and innovation.
Today, under the leadership of Carl's son, Dr. Sam Rehnborg, the next generation of scientists, researchers, and technicians is preserving the rich Nutrilite heritage by continuing to produce high quality, innovative supplements.
Because they are made from whole plant concentrates, many NUTRILITE supplements contain a wide array of phytonutrients.
Throughout his life, Carl Rehnborg believed this was the optimum way to achieve good nutrition the way nature intended.
Carl F. Rehnborg, Nutrilite Double X Rich DeVos Jay Van Andel
Manufacturing operations in Buena Park, California, and Guangzhou, China, produce up to 10 billion NUTRILITE tablets, capsules and softgel capsules annually.

A New Opportunity

Carl began selling his new supplement person to person, friend to friend, through word-of-mouth referrals.
When some of these early customers began referring new customers to Carl, he suggested they sell the product themselves, rewarding them with discounts on their purchases.
Just as Carl had created the first multivitamin/multimineral supplement sold in North America, he also pioneered an early multi-level marketing system and a revolutionary new business model still in use today.
The two people who guided the NUTRILITE brand to its present-day business success story were Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel. Rich and Jay had been distributing NUTRILITE products for 10 years before they founded Amway in 1959, so they were dedicated to the quality of the products and committed to the integrity of the brand.
Today, the NUTRILITE brand is sold exclusively by Amway Independent Business Owners worldwide.
Carl Rehnborg's innovative work was the start of a multi-billion dollar company.
